Happy First Wednesday, Friends.

It's time for part three of Five Ways to Support Authors (without buying their books), and I think this time it is finally a less obvious one. It also may be my shortest post, but we shall see...

#3- Comment on our Posts

I'll start out by explaining that again- this is not mandatory. You don't have to comment especially if-

#1. We didn't ask any questions.

or

#2. The question doesn't apply or interest you.

But before I let you off the hook completely, let's look into a few benefits and motivations for you to comment.

  1. We love hearing from you.

    &

  2. It encourages us.

Commenting means you took the time to read our post which encourages us more than you know. It encourages and thrills us so to see people who are excited for and truly care about our work. You are the reason we do what we do, and we could never do it without you!

Your comments give us the encouragement, and the empowerment to never give up.

  3. We get to know you better.

As our follower, you are a part of our special bookish community. We care about you, but how can we welcome or get to know you if we never have any interaction with you? Commenting helps us to meet you where you are as well as to learn your interests and preferences, and how we can uplift and encourage you with our posts. None of our content is done for ourselves, but for you, our followers.

Before I close, I want to thank those who have encourage me with their comments, and apologize if I've ever missed replying to anyone's (Sometimes, it might be because I take social media breaks frequently.). I will always reply ASAP after I see yours.

I hope this post encourages you to keep spreading encouragement no matter how small. You never know what a kind word might accomplish.

    TTFN, fellow adventurers!

    God Bless!

    Ellie
