Hello and thank you for joining us all again for the fifth day of Five Fall Favorites.
Finally š , today is an easier category. Though, it may have been slightly hard to narrow it down because I'm like a cyclist when it comes to books. I usually reread a book every couple of years if I enjoyed it (and that happens to be most of the books I've read š š).
Make sure to stop by

book "booths" for another round of recs.
Oh, and don't forget about Kate Willis!Ā

My Top 5 Re-REads

Emma by Jane Austen
I loved this book before but the 1996 movie really cemented it as being my favorite of Jane Austen's books (Don't worry I love Pride & Prejudice too. I've read it three times), and Mr. Knightly has forever captured my heart. There was just something about him always loving her. I found it sweet even though he was so much older than her. He was a true friend as he always pushed Emma to be the best version of herself because he loved her so much that he couldn't bear to see her live with regret for past actions. But he is so soft, and gentle about it. My favorite part is the end. I love it when they finally realize they love each other š.

š¹ Rose in Bloom by Louisa May Alcott š¹
I don't know why, but I feel like this is a lesser know sequel of Alcott's... At least, I didn't find it for quite a while after I'd read Eight Cousins. I'd always hoped there was more to the story, so needless to say I was delighted to find this gem among my Nana's collection of old books, and realized what it was. I'd always hoped Mac would be the one. I love that they slowly realized that they loved each other. Mac was so funny trying to get her to like him especially the time when she thought he was her guardian uncle.

š§£ Not my Will by Francena H. Arnold š§£
I've read this so many times I've lost count. It has always been a great reminder for me to surrender my will to God.

š Until the Daybreak by Al & Joanna Lacy š
This has always been one of my favorites of Al Lacy's Mail-Order Bride Series. It was actually one of the last ones I read because for some reason our library didn't own it for the longest time. Since then though, I've read it at least twice. Maybe it's because Dorianne is an Italian immigrant, and other cultures fascinate me (especially Italy's. Their language is so Bellissima.). Also, wondering if Stone (don't you just love that name), would still accept her after she became blind, definitely rang me through the wringer. The strong faith element is well done, and the gospel is clearly presented. It never grows old how amazing it is that God uses the circumstances in our lives to bring us to Him.

š¬ļøThe Raiders Promise by Lois Walfrid Johnson š¬ļø
Yes, this is the fifth in the series, but I liked it the best. I loved how Bree's and Devin's Christian testimony impacted those around them. The book also really highlighted the change in Mikkel. How he became a man of honor rather than revenge. Plus, the forbidden romance is probably the best I've ever come across.

This is the absolutely last day to put in so please don't make Oscar (š¦) sad, but not entering this lovely giveawayā¤µļø by several of my fellow bloggers.

Well, I have another fall day in the library to get to ššš. It's so nice to be out and about on a crisp fall day. The crunch and rustle of the orange and yellow leaves 'neath my boots certainly is my favorite sound of the season š. Maybe, I'll even grab my first PS Iced Capp of the season on my way (Make it my way by adding two shots of caramel to your order. Trust me, it's good š.).
See you tomorrow šš»,

Ooh, I love the Viking Quest series! But I actually like the first three books better than the last two!
I haven't read the last three (they look good tho!) but the first two are EXCELLENT.
Rose in Bloom was my obsession as a teenager, and I'm so happy to see someone recommend Raider's Promise!
Have you ever read the sequel to Not My Will? I think it's even better. :D Ah yes, Rose in Bloom. So good. I'm adding Until The Daybreak to my TBR stack.
Oh, Not My Will is the Francena Arnola book I read! What a story!
I have Emma but haven't read it yet ...
