What's She Reading Now: Classical Adventures

What makes a classic? If a book draws one back to the story because of the timeless gems of truths treasured within its pages with characters who are such old friends that you are happy to be reacquainted with them all over again; I believe, that's what makes up truly classical literature!
Why, a week ago I started to reread one of my favorite classic series- The Chronicles of Narnia. It never grows old! I love Lewis's style of writing- how alive his books really are! I relearn so many good truths each time I escape into one! I finished The Magician's Nephew yesterday, and I am quite looking forward to picking up The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe tomorrow! So now you can wonder no longer-that's what I'm reading now! But that's not all I wanted to write about because I had so many wonderful reflections on The Magician's Nephew! So without further ado, I thought I'd share just one of them before you go!
Wasn't it so sad that- Uncle Andrew in closing his ears to the truth, prevented himself from seeing the wonders of Narnia and Aslan that were right in front of him! I hope personally that I never forget to listen to truth and heed it! Oh, what a tragedy it is indeed whenever we find ourselves to clever to listen.
Now lest we get caught up in another (thoroughly good, but winding) magical trail of reflections- here are a few questions for you before this adventure ends!
Which book in The Chronicles of Narnia is your favorite or do you have different classical favorite entirely!
If you care to know, I think mine is probably The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe or The Horse & His Boy.
Until the next adventure, friends!
God Bless!
Ellie
